Role: Senior Performance Manager
We are seeking a Performance Manager with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing and growing paid advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
We are specifically looking for someone whose bread and butter is Google Ads - someone who lives and breathes the platform - with a strong specialism in SEO (including GEO/AEO) and/or deep hands-on experience in Google Shopping, Merchant Center, and feed-based performance marketing.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Account Managers: while they focus on client relationships and broader strategy, you’ll bring both the strategic vision and the hands-on execution required to deliver outstanding results. This means helping shape campaigns and their setup while also rolling up your sleeves to set up, optimise, and scale campaigns using BrightBid’s AI-powered tools.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead Google Ads strategy and execution as your primary performance channel.
Partner with Account Managers to develop campaign strategies and translate client business goals into actionable paid media plans.
Manage account structure, keyword research, bidding strategies, ad copy, creative testing, and feed optimisation with the support of BrightBid’s AI-powered tools.
Build and scale Shopping campaigns, Performance Max, and feed-based strategies via Google Merchant Center.
Collaborate on SEO strategy (including GEO/AEO initiatives) to ensure paid and organic channels work together for maximum visibility and performance.
Plan, execute, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and additional platforms such as TikTok Ads.
Monitor campaign performance daily, ensuring budget pacing, KPIs, and ROI targets are consistently achieved.
Set up and maintain tracking and attribution through tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion APIs.
Analyse results, generate client reports, and present actionable recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
Stay on top of industry trends, testing new channels and formats to drive incremental growth.
Requirements
3+ years of proven experience in performance marketing / digital advertising.
Deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen) — this is your core strength.
Strong experience with Google Merchant Center, product feeds, and e-commerce performance.
Working knowledge of SEO principles, including experience or interest in GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation).
Experience with Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads; TikTok Ads experience is a plus.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical campaign execution.
Solid understanding of analytics, tracking, and attribution (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Conversion APIs, etc.).
Proven ability to manage campaign budgets and deliver measurable results.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with both clients and account managers.
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive personality.
Proficiency in English; additional Nordic languages are a plus.
Considered a Plus
Advanced SEO experience with measurable organic growth results.
Deep experience in Shopping feed optimisation and structured data.
Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and landing page testing.
Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or LinkedIn Marketing.
